Q. What is PIVOT?
A. PIVOT is a soon-to-be non-profit out based out of Nebraska. It was created by two women who saw an incredible need to keep teenagers in their community moving forward even in tough times using positive mindsets with practical and intentional actions.

Q. Why is it called “PIVOT?”
A. Throughout life, we are constantly moving. Moments will require us to stop, take notice of what is going on, and we will need to adapt. Plus, both of us played basketball.

Q. How is PIVOT different?
A. PIVOT is not just an empowerment site for teenagers. It was founded on the belief that more could be done to help teenagers through hard moments. Somewhere along the way, we forgot to teach our young people the “hard knocks” life sometimes brings. Not because we want them to, but because it’s the truth. We don’t sugar coat — we are truthful without being hurtful.

Q. Does PIVOT stand for anything?
A. Yes. In addition to the meaning behind the word “pivot” itself, PIVOT also stands for Positively Influencing (the) Voices (of) Our Teens.
